A few funny Mother Goose rhymes for Poetry Friday. The kids are sick and the house is a mess, so there will be absolutely NO commentary today.
PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE
Patience is a virtue,
Virtue is a grace,
Grace is a little girl
Who wouldn't wash her face.
GREGORY GRIGGS
Gregory Griggs, Gregory Griggs,
Had twenty-seven different wigs.
He wore them up, he wore them down,
To please the people of the town.
He wore them east, he wore them west,
And never could tell which one he liked best.
FIDDLE-DE-DEE
Fiddle-de-dee, Fiddle-de-dee,
The fly shall marry the bumblebee.
They went to church, and married was she;
The fly had married the bumblebee.
HAPPY WEEKENDING!
