Photography Assignment #2

books, book basket
The assignment was to take pictures of something from several different angles. I made this SUPER EASY no-sew tutu for my lil ballerina. I love how it turned out! Here are some of my favorite shots...

The first and third shots are fun because they really show off the tutu in all its textured glory. The middle shot is good because it shows emotion. I love how the ballerina's brother is putting his arm around her, especially because his sleeve say defense. I mean, that's what big brothers are for, right?
I think the best photo is the first one because it has energy, texture, and attitude.

My Man--Happy Valentine's!

king of love

I lifted these questions off my sister, Lisa's, blog (Hope you don't mind, Lis.) in honor of Valentine's and all the lovey-dovey, honey-bunny stuff.

-What is his full name? Robert Beeson...although, much to his family's chagrin, I renamed him Robby.

-How long have you been married? 6 1/2 years...is that long enough to stop counting halves?

-How long did you date? We dated 2 months, and then we were engaged for 4. We married 6 months and a day after we met.

-Who eats more sweets? Him...especially lately.

-Who said I love you first? Well, he did...but it was kind of a pivotal moment, and I totally put him on the spot and asked if he loved me. Thank goodness he did. That could have been awkward.  :)

-How old is he? 30. And I'll never let him forget it.

-Who is taller? Definitely him...by about 7 inches. My mom always said I needed to marry into some tall genes.

-Who is smarter? He thinks he is. Lets not tell him the truth.   :)

-Who can sing better? I'm the singer. I think he has a good voice. He's just not very confident about it...not that I am...ahem.

-Who does the laundry? Me. I think Husband may have done it once. Maybe twice. Oh, how I loathe laundry!

-Who pays the bills? This is a responsibility we split up.

-Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? Husband.

-Who mows the lawn? Hahahaha. Like I've ever done anything that manly. Well, once I tried, actually...but apparently I'm not very good at the turns, so he took over. Same goes for snow shoveling. Not my thing.

-Who cooks dinner? We trade off. I usually do when Robby's at work, but he does it a lot when he's home.

-Who drives? Husband. He calls me the human compass...and trust me, it's not to be flattering. Just last week, I got lost actually. I always have.

This one time, I was lost in the middle of some orchards trying to get to a party. I called my friend to see if she could help. She told me that the house was right under the moon. "Follow the moon," she said. So, I did...until the moon was straight ahead and I had to turn right or left. After losing a hub cap and following the moon for hours, I found my way out of the orchard and drove home.

Okay. That was a tangent. Back to the task at hand.

-Who is more stubborn? Stubborn? Oh, no. Definitely neither.  :) Umm. Next question.

-Who kissed who first? He kissed me, but we tell the story differently. His story is a lot more fun, albeit, untrue. He says I hung on his leg while he was trying to leave, saying, 'I'm not letting you go until you kiss me."

-Who asked who out? Neither. It was a blind date. After that, we were inseparable.

-Who proposed? Ahhh. He did. Good times. Good times.

-Who has more siblings? We each have three. He has 3 sisters who whipped him into shape. I have 2 bros and 1 sis.

-Who wears the pants? Interesting question. Isn't marriage a partnership? It's all give-and-take. Although I think Robby may be better at give-give-giving.

Have a fantastic day! Even if you are single today. Everyone is loved by someone. Even if the only someone is God.

PS. Feel free to lift these questions if you want.
